Super Moon

Hey everyone, it's been a while since I have had the time to get out with my camera and to the computer.  I was on my way to bed on the weekend when I looked outside and saw an amazing view of the super moon.  For anyone that doesn't know what a super moon is, I will fill you in on what I read.  A super moon is when the moons orbital axis bring it to its closest distance to earth.  Therefore making it appear much larger than usual.  So I saw this outside my back door and ran for the camera and tripod.  I took about four shots and then ran in to go to bed.  Later on in the week I loaded them onto the computer. While going through the images I saw one photo that looked amazing with a little lens flare.  The only thing I thought was missing was some of the moons detail.  So that brought me to photo shop programs to see if I could create the image I was looking for.  I tried to use an HDR program at first but since I didn't take them with HDR in mind, the frame didn't line up for the program to stitch it together.  So I went into another program that I know better called Roxio and did a manual HDR simulation.  I hope you all like this as much as I do. I think it turned out exactly as I was imagining it to be.  ;)  Cheers and have a great day.
