REMI the Rotti

I had a great time this weekend photographing an amazingly well behaved Rottweiler named Remi.  Her owner had contacted me about doing a couple photos that they could have hung in the house as a keep sake and for there new decor.  Remi is getting older and the age is starting to catch up with her, but that didn't stop her from wanting to chase the tennis ball around the back yard.   She is very obedient, making the session much easier than anticipated.  We started the session in the house using the available soft light entering through the windows but it wasn't quite enough.  So I added the use of my speed light and bounced it off the ceiling to give a great high key soft light from above.  Once we were finished the session inside Remi was let out in the back yard with her tennis ball.  I saw her playing with it and noticed how the snow contrasted with here black and brown markings.  I through on the 70-200mm and my boots and headed out with her.  I am extremely happy with the results and excited to share a few of my favourites from the session.  Here they are and thanks for visiting my blog.  Have a great day. photocrati gallery
