Another Night Shoot in Port Stanley
I'm a little behind this week on posts but I was out again doing a little night photography. This time I had some company. A couple new friends in town that I met through the St Thomas Photographic Guild. Cory Walker and Tracie Boudreau had invited me out to do a Night Shoot with them. So we headed down to Port Stanley's Little Beach side and set up our cameras. We started out playing around with burning steel wool which was very exiting to do. Something about twirling fire over your head gives it a sense of exhilaration. lol After burning through the steel wool, we set up to capture star trails and some images with the stars standing still. I found the second to be quit challenging as my camera is a little older technology and doesn't handle the high ISO very well. My image turned out to be very noisy and I wasn't a 100% happy with the quality. I did however end up with a great image on a 15 min exposure that I was happy with. Have a look and feel free to leave me some feed back. That's what makes us improve our skills. Thanks for checking out my site and I hope to do business with you in the future.
